Claiborne location, but I was uptown and extremely pressed for time. Therefore I took a chance and hoped for the best. Thankfully, when I entered the restaurant, there were no customers, so I received my food almost instantaneously. The latest "craze" that I actually like at Wendy's is the installation of the Coca-Cola Freestyle, which is a self serve touch screen soda fountain. It features over 100 Coca -Cola drink products and custom flavors. The below quote from Wikipedia tells a lot more about the system. "Customers choose a base product, which they can supplement with additional flavoring. Diet and Zero products remain low or no calorie even with flavorings added. Coca-Cola, Diet Coca-Cola and Caffeine Free Diet Coca-Cola are all available with vanilla, lime, raspberry, cherry or orange flavoring. Coca-Cola Zero is available with cherry or vanilla flavoring. Sprite and Sprite Zero are available with cherry, vanilla, strawberry, grape, peach and raspberry flavorings. Powerade ION4 and Powerade Zero sports drinks, Fanta and Fanta Zero, which already has an orange flavor, as well as Hi-C are available with fruit punch, lime, grape, strawberry, peach, raspberry, or cherry flavoring. Last time I was here I ate inside. They have quite a few people running around looking busy but they still took over 15 minutes to prepare my order, which was incorrectly made the first time. That is a long time to wait for fast food. They have a touch screen "Freestyle" soda machine that give you a ton of flavor options but 1/3 of the flavors read "empty" when selected! I tried 3 times before I got one that was working. Come on guys! Another thing I was disappointed with was that the ketchup was totally out and when I told someone at the counter, instead of saying they would refill it she just gave me packets that you get at the drive through. I feel like that is just lazy and that when you are dining in you shouldn't have to deal with ketchup packets. I know it's just Wendy's and it's only ketchup but come on. If there is something that needs to be done like refilling the ketchup, why not just do it? This was a pretty disappointing experience, especially since they had be doing so well since the big remodel.

I mean it's Wendy's so expectations aren't exactly high when one is forced to eat something here. The only expectations one might have at this point when it comes to fast food is that it actually be and maybe the food may be remotely fresh. Unfortunately even with it's new look construction that isn't the case with this place. Late and Luke warm food coupled with employees who seem to believe their doing you a favor by making you something fresh one would be better going elsewhere if possible.

Where to start? We were met by a cashier who looked like she would rather be doing anything else than working there. She was hard to understand, and became confused by a simple order. The Pretzel Bun burger I ordered had a very, very cold bun (frozen). The service was terrible. The place was a mix of either wet or sticky floors. It wasn't a good experience.

I live closer to a different Wendy's but the saving grace to this particular location being open until 1am thank the Lord. My Wendy's meal is always the sour cream & chive baked potato, 5 piece nuggets and a frosty. I don't recommend getting a deluxe BP just because I've noticed the quality of Wendy's BPs has decreased in the past year. I suspect that Wendy's has purchased a cheaper cheese due to the watery, fake look of it. The regular cheap-o BP that just comes with sour cream and chives is fine though. I've never had a negative experience at this place. It's open late, the staff is patient and generally happy, and the food is normal delicious Wendy's.
